THE WRIGHTSTYLE SR FIRE-RATED SYSTEM

The Wrightstyle SR fire-rated curtain walling and roof glazing system offers the same slim sightlines and design flexibility as the standard SR system, but with the additional capability to achieve up to 120 minutes integrity (E120) or 120 minutes integrity and insulation (EI120) passive fire protection.

System Construction

The fire-rated SR system utilises cold-rolled, pre-galvanised steel profiles from the 60mm wide SR range. These precision-engineered profiles work in conjunction with specially produced fire-resistant or non-fire-resistant gaskets, combined with profiled stainless steel or galvanised steel pressure plates to ensure consistent edge pressure is maintained throughout fire exposure.

Because of the simple substitution of pressure plates and gaskets, any of the standard aluminium or stainless steel capping options can be used to finish the façade, allowing seamless integration with adjacent non-steel or non-fire-rated systems while maintaining visual consistency across the building envelope.
